Monday - 06/05/2019 02:48

Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of the Province Mr. Vo Van Chanh said at the meeting of members of the Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association in the afternoon of March 30th 2019.

According to Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of the Province Mr. Vo Van Chanh, in addition to being a center of industries and services, Dong Nai is also a province with strong agriculture. However, it is a fact that the contribution ratio of enterprises to agriculture is still very small, mainly from households of farmers. This results in the fact that agriculture still remains fragmented, dependent on the market, especially China.

The managers of the Province are calling on enterprises to invest more in the agricultural sector, because this is an area that is being prioritized for development by the province. Dong Nai will give higher priority and privileges to enterprises investing in production, processing, raising the values of agriculture and along with that, the Province shall also work alongside enterprises to help them overcome difficulties and obstacles.

Also at the meeting, the young entrepreneurs had the chance to listen to Assoc Prof. Dr. Mr. Tran Dinh Thien, economic expert, member of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Group sharing information about the role of the private economy in Vietnam. According to Assoc Prof. Dr. Tran Dinh Thien, amidst the trend of integration and globalization, Vietnam values private economy more and more, and is considering private economy to be a driving force of development. Time has changed, and now, entrepreneurs must have a new approach. Entrepreneurs need to identify what they have done to determine how to change, what the new challenges are, and how to meet the requirements of the times. The problems of the era such as new technology, globalization, the fluctuations of Chinese economy, and climate change are not just challenges but also an opportunity for enterprises to locate their values, create innovative products.

For Dong Nai, Assoc Prof. Dr. Tran Dinh Thien suggested that the province should have policies to build strong key enterprises, thus creates an ecosystem for small enterprises to follow and develop. Dong Nai should pay attention to develop on creative enterprises, because the province has the grounds to do so, with a particular example was Lac Hong University's robocon creation; the province should pay attention to develop supporting industry enterprises ... and especially the desire of Dong Nai entrepreneurs.

On this occasion, Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association admitted 22 new members, bringing the total members up to no more than 420 members.
