On February 19, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Tran Van Vinh, chaired a meeting of the Provincial Economic Development Steering Committee to work out a plan for 2019 and subsequent years.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Vinh, Head of Provincial Business Development Steering Committee chaired the meeting.
Dong Nai currently has over 34,000 registered enterprises, but only more than 17,000 businesses pay taxes. There are still no complete statistics on the number of businesses still operating or have stopped operating.
At the meeting, the issue mentioned by many members of the Steering Committee are: specific summary of the number of enterprises still operating; attract foreign investment; expand export and import markets; support small and medium enterprises in the country; many shortcomings in planning, leading to many projects attracting investment enterprises but could not be implemented, losing opportunities for both businesses and provinces.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Tran Van Vinh asked the Provincial Economic Development Steering Committee to build a system in each area such as: providing market information, supporting businesses, business data, have preferential policies to attract investment in agricultural product processing...
In addition, it is necessary to coordinate with departments to implement tasks in the future to achieve economic efficiency. In attracting foreign investment, attention should be paid to the contribution of enterprises to the province, to create jobs for workers to be stable, long-term and high-income. The departments and agencies shall jointly resolved procedures and quick dossiers for enterprises to implement projects.
