Consul General of Indonesia invites Dong Nai to promote trade

​Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Dinh Quoc Thai received the visit of Mr. Hanif Salim. Expressing the appreciation on the traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Indonesia, Mr. Hanif Salim has cordially presented the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and Dong Nai enterprises an invitation to international trade fair Indonesia Expo year 2018 hosted in September, to visit Indonesia and to meet the Indonesian President Joko Widodo. Mr. Hanif Salim also announced, in September President Joko Widodo will visit Vietnam and attend the World Economic Forum hosted by Vietnam. Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai congratulated Mr. Hanif Salim on his appointment as Consul General of Indonesia in Hoc Chi Minh City.

Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Dinh Quoc Thai introduced to Mr. Hanif Salim characteristics on the socio-economic potentials of Dong Nai province and introduced that Dong Nai is the province that attract the largest foreign investment throughout the country with 2 billion USD each year. However, Indonesia currently has only 2 investing enterprises with 15 million USD, not yet reflecting the full potential of Indonesian enterprises.
