According to Department of Health, on July 16, the province recorded 155 positive cases of COVID-19, including 31 cases of Chang shin Company, bringing the total number of positive cases at this company to 74 cases, mainly in Vinh Cuu District and Bien Hoa City.

Health sector promotes COVID-19 testing in Bien Hoa City

In Bien Hoa city, 65 new positive cases were recorded, mainly in areas that were blocked; Vinh Cuu District has 39 cases, also mainly related to the Chang shin company outbreak. In addition, some districts also recorded infections such as districts of Nhon Trach, Trang Bom, and Dinh Quan.

Thus, the total number of positive cases with SARS-CoV-2 in this fourth outbreak is 962 cases, Bien Hoa City recorded the most with 427 cases, Thong Nhat District with 114 cases, Nhon Trach District with 107 cases. Up to now, the quick tests for employees of Chang shin company has been completed; The relevant localities focus on investigating and tracing the detected the F0 cases in the company and isolating and testing F1 cases, mainly in Trang Dai Ward and Thanh Phu Commune.

Currently, medical units continue to strengthen investigations, screening tests by quick tests at markets, workers dormitories, and in the companies.

According to the proposal of the Health sector, Vinh Cuu District and Bien Hoa City continue to focus on tracing in communes and wards related to the outbreak at Chang shin company. The other communes and wards continue to trace and expand taking samples of F2 people in the blocked areas; continue to strengthen screening in businesses, hostels, especially large enterprises, crowded hostels and strictly maintain the implementation of Directive No.15 of the Provincial People's Committee.
