The Department of Health urgently researches and develops a pilot plan of F1 isolation at home

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document on reducing the isolation time, piloting F1 isolation at home and managing the treatment of Covid-19 patients in the province.

Accordingly, reducing the time of medical isolation from 21 days to 14 days for F1 cases and people entering the country (except for people entering to work for less than 14 days and other cases of isolation according to other regulations of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control and the Ministry of Health) and conducted taking samples for Covid-19 test at least 3 times on the 1st, 7th and 13th day of the quarantine period. Continue to monitor the patients’ health at home, or where you stay for the next 14 days after the end of concentrated isolation.

Strictly implement the management and supervision of isolation at the centralized isolation facility to ensure that there is no cross-contamination in the isolation area; transport the patients to the right localities in accordance with regulations; monitoring and medical supervision at home/place of residence after isolation to prevent the disease from spreading to the community.

The Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Health to urgently study and develop a pilot plan of F1 isolation at home according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health, in accordance with the actual situation of the province. Along with that, evaluate, summarize and draw experiences to consider deploying on a broader range.

Regarding the management and treatment of Covid-19 patients, the Department of Health implements professional regulations on management and treatment of Covid-19 patients of the Ministry of Health to all Covid-19 treatment facilities, public and private medical clinics under their management.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Public Security to coordinate with local health authorities to closely manage and supervise the implementation of health monitoring at the homes and places of residence of people coming back from foreign countries.

People's Committees of districts and cities direct the People's Committees of communes, wards and townships to mobilize forces of Public Security, military, residential groups, hamlets, local mass organizations, community Covid-19 control groups and all the people to strengthen monitoring and supervision of the observance of epidemic prevention and control requirements, to follow up people isolated at home after coming back from concentrated camps, and F1 cases isolated at home.
