Covid-19 Test for workers should be done in the soonest time

Dong Nai Province has appeared large Covid-19 outbreaks in districts and cities. Outbreaks in Bien Hoa City, Trang Bom District, and Vinh Cuu District are mainly related to wholesale markets and people returning from Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong Province. By this way, the virus have entered into markets, residential areas, hostels, workers, and then spread to companies, and even Industrial Zones.

New outbreaks have been detected in Long Binh Industrial Zone (Bien Hoa City), Song May Industrial Zone (Trang Bom District), Loc An - Binh Son Industrial Zone (Long Thanh), Long Thanh Industrial Zone, Nhon Trach 2 Industrial Zone. Those companies located outside the Industrial Zones with 10-20 thousand workers such as Pou Chen Vietnam Co., Ltd., and Chang shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. have also found many new cases. The risk of epidemic outbreaks in Industrial Zones and Industrial Clusters is very high. In which, Bien Hoa City, Thong Nhat District are considered to be in the very high-risk group. The districts of Trang Bom, Vinh Cuu, Long Thanh, Nhon Trach, Cam My and Xuan Loc belong to the high-risk group. In general assessment, Dong Nai is a high-risk province, it is likely that there are many cases of F0 in the community who have not yet been tested.

The Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control requested the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority to coordinate with other departments, agencies and local People's Committees to direct domestic and foreign companies based inside and outside of the Industrial Zones of high-risk and very high-risk localities shall conduct rapid Covid-19 test for all employees of the companies or test by PCR method. All the expenses to be borne by those companies.

The tests have been carried out since July 15, 2021, as quickly as possible. It is adviced that the high-risk districts or cities should conduct the tests for all workers.
