Building corporate culture from daily behaviors

In your opinion, how important is the Corporate Culture to the development of enterprises?

- I think corporate culture is very simple, which is the behaviors, habits and standards of the members of the enterprise in order to create a unique feature for each enterprise. Corporate culture also expresses the vision, operational mission, philosophy and core values ​​of the enterprise to form a culture of awareness, building the organizational culture of the enterprise in the most appropriate way. I myself, after a period of research, study, study tour at many large enterprises in Vietnam and abroad, have witnessed many businesses which have developed for more than 100 years. Although the situation, the business environment is always changing, businesses and employees have a harmonious relationship and cooperate to develop together thanks to the guiding of the Corporate Culture.

How did you implement the corporate culture at your A Viet Law Accounting Tax Company Limited?

- We always define the mission of the company as a business incubator, contributing to the development of Vietnamese enterprises through consulting on tax, accounting and effective corporate governance. We have been pursuing values ​​and codes of conduct with customers, colleagues and people around us such as: doing business with the manner of happiness, always smiling; sense of responsibility, respect customers. The mode of operation is to organize the mutual activities such as football, cycling, weekend coffee meetings; have good time together, picnic once a quarter. Recently, we biked together to Giang Dien Waterfall (Trang Bom District), in the next quarter's plan we will go to the coastal city of Phan Thiet, Binh Thuan Province.

In your opinion, in the process of implementing the Corporate Culture, what is the most difficult?

- Implementing the Corporate Culture, we have to maintain the consistency between saying and doing, once you commit something, you have to do, avoiding just doing it because you did promise. We have maintained this principle for more than 10 years and will pursue this value forever. However, in order for employees to well implement the corporate culture, the leader needs to be a leading example, well implement the set goals, as a driving force to bring people closer together.

Actively implement the social responsibility

The purpose of a business is profit. Having a profit will take good care of employees and fulfill social responsibilities. How has the social responsibility been implemented at the A Viet Law Accounting Tax Company Limited?

- I think that the spirit of enterprise is to know how to get rich, comply with the law, and care about the society development. These three things once go together will create the sustainable development. Enterprises carry out social responsibility by organizing charity programs and other social work, which also contribute to brand promotion. Not only taking care of employees, the company also organizes many visits and give gifts to the poor every year.

Particularly in 2020 and the first 6 months of 2021, the Company came to give gifts to lonely old women in Trang Bom District; or during the Covid-19 epidemic, the company joined hands in wrapping gifts to support the poor, giving hundreds of books to schools to support students to read books online. Although these activities are humble ones compared to other big companies, they have changed the thinking of employees in the company. They have joined hands, contributed efforts, and had more responsibility to the community.

- In the coming time, will A Viet Law Accounting Tax Company Limited continue with community activities?

- We have never thought that we will stop performing social responsibility so far absolutely we will continue to carry out activities for the community. We always strive and commit to serve our customers well so that everyone can see that our activities have been recognized as doing the right and effective things. In addition, each person in the company has to strive even harder. The more you try, the more responsible you are towards society.

Is implementing social responsibility an advantage to attract talents and good workers, sir?

- In the current context, businesses have to compete for human resources with each other, not only with competitors in Vietnam but also in the world. Thus, those companies that perform good social responsibilities to their employees, for example: to implement the health insurance policies, pay full wages, create a comfortable working environment, support the employees in their lives, implement good social responsibility to the community to increase its prestige, etc. Only when doing these things well, the enterprises can retain good employees, and make them to work in the enterprise for long term.
