On the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday 2020- Buddhist Calendar 2564, on 5-5, Members of the Central Standing Committee including Huynh Van Hong, Head of the Provincial People's Committee, Dao Van Phuoc, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province represented the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee came to congratulate at the Provincial Buddhist Sangha (Buddhist Religious Association). Attending the meeting also were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoa Hiep; Deputy Director of Department of Home Affairs Vy Vu Hong Thao; Head of Religious Affairs Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Quoc Vu.

Venerable Thich Hue Khai, Standing Deputy Chairman of the provincial Buddhist Sangha, expressed his thanks for the interest of the provincial leaders, creating favorable conditions for religions, including Buddhism, to operate lawfully in the past. At the same time, this interest continues to be a motivation for fellow Buddhists to join and accompany the province of Dong Nai to build its future more and more civilized, rich and beautiful.
Regarding the implementation of epidemic prevention, over the past time, the provincial Buddhist Sangha Committee propagated to all monks, nuns, fellow Buddhists and set the time to open the religious ritual from May 17 to ensure protection and prevention of COVID-19.

On the same day, the Delegation of the Provincial Religious Committee was visited by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vu, Head of the Committee, congratulating the Buddha's Birthday at some Buddhist establishments in the province.
