Promoting connection and stimulating demand for Vietnamese goods

From November 1 to 30, the month of the Promotion program in 2020 officially took place in the province with participation of businesses, production and business units of all economic sectors, including trade centers, general supermarkets, electronics supermarkets, markets, optional stores, and specialized stores; consumer goods production and trading enterprises; tourism, restaurant and hotel businesses; transport service enterprises; banking system; telecommunications business; information technology enterprises; construction enterprises; e-commerce business, etc.

Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Le Van Loc shared, this promotion month is a program to promote production and business activities, stimulate consumer demand, gradually recover and promote industry and commerce development in the new phase of the Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control; respond to the campaign Vietnamese people prioritise using Vietnamese goods in the province. At the same time, the program also promotes building and introducing images and brands of local products; and enhance promotion of Vietnamese products and offer reputable branded products to consumers, etc.

In addition, the Department of Industry and Trade also assigns Dong Nai Trade Promotion Center to coordinate with International Advertising and Trading Promotion Joint Stock Company to organize Dong Nai year-end shopping fair 2020. The fair is expected to be held from December 19 to December 25, 2020. This is the annual trade promotion program of the province, held on a large scale, an opportunity for businesses to promote potentials, advantages, brands, and products; look for business partners; connect and cooperate to develop commercial relations, expand markets, etc.

For OCOP products (One Commune One Product) and typical rural industrial products of the province, according to Le Van Loc, in the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade will actively connect with the provincial super system to pilot 2 showrooms for OCOP products at supermarkets and trade centers, aiming to build showrooms to display and promote OCOP products and typical rural industrial products of the province. At the same time, it is expected to pilot a showroom in Cat Tien National Park (Tan Phu District) to introduce catalogs, display and promote its OCOP products to domestic and foreign tourists.

Connecting Vietnamese products to rural and industrial zones

According to Dong Nai Trade Promotion Center (Department of Industry and Trade), at the end of November and the beginning of December, the unit plans to organize 6 Vietnamese rural fairs in Trang Bom, Dinh Quan, Tan Phu, Xuan Loc, Cam My and Long Thanh Districts. In addition, the other 2 fairs for workers are also planned to organise in industrial zones like Bau Xeo (Trang Bom District) and Tam Phuoc (Bien Hoa City).

In the last three months of this year, Dong Nai Trade Promotion Center will also coordinate with departments, branches and localities in the province to organize 26 Vietnamese fairs to factories and industrial parks in the province.

Vietnamese goods fairs organised in rural and industrial zones are trade promotion activities with the campaign Vietnamese people prioritise using Vietnamese goods under Dong Nai's trade promotion program in 2020. These programs are part of stimulus activities for domestic consumption, Vietnamese goods promotion as well as branded products provision to consumers in the province, etc.
