On April 16th, Trong Duc Cocoa Co., Ltd. (Dinh Quan District) in collaboration with The International University of Ho Chi Minh City organized a seminar to report on research and processing of foods and drinking water of high economic value from the scraps of cocoa fruits.

The research topics reported include: the process of producing non-fried cookies and instant noodles with cocoa shell powder; the production process of vegetarian sausages and pectin from cocoa fruit powder; the process of producing nutritious drinking water from cocoa fruit meat. These topics are carried out by the group of Professors and Doctors of The International University of Ho Chi Minh City to study according to the order of the enterprise. The highlight of these topics is the use of ingredients such as waste from cocoa pods and pulp to process foods with high nutritional and economic value. The goal of this cooperation program is to constantly diversify products and foods processed from cocoa fruit ingredients. The above research topics after completion, The International University of Ho Chi Minh City will transfer to Trong Duc Cocoa Co., Ltd. to put into production.

Trong Duc Cocoa Co., Ltd. is the investor of a large field project of cocoa trees associated with production and consumption in Dong Nai.
