Previously, every year, enterprise exported about 1,000 tons of products through the China and America markets. Currently, due to the impact of the epidemic on the export market, business is considering to consume more products in the domestic market. To do this, business wants to have access to domestic distribution channels, especially supermarkets, shopping centers and convenience stores. Thereby, business can expand market share, improve competitiveness. "Ho Chi Minh City is the largest market in the country, so business focuses on linking and expanding distribution in this market" – Mrs Pham Thi Bich Ha said.
Similarly, enterprises in the field of furniture production of Dong Nai are also strongly aiming at the domestic market after a long time focusing on exporting. According to the assessment, the domestic furniture market is now more than 4 billion USD in commercial value and the demand is increasing due to the rising living standards of urban residents, especially young people.
