In which, many comanies have begun to deploy sales channels to stabilize prices, actively reserve goods for the upcoming Tet Holiday.

This year, the Lunar New Year is about a month away from the New Year. Therefore, the suppliers that produce and supply goods for the Tet Holiday are expected to have enough time to prepare the source of goods, and the stocking of Tet goods should be proactive to ensure the quantity and quality of products.

Due to the unpredictable developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, the stocking of goods for this year's Tet Holiday was greatly affected. Up to now, localities in the province have developed plans to ensure the quantity of goods for Tet, especially for essential goods.

Mr. Luc Van Thuy, Head of Trade Management Division, Department of Industry and Trade shared, currently, commercial centers and supermarkets in the province have basically committed to participate in stabilizing the market. The key raising enterprises such as Binh Minh, Japfa, Anh Hoang Thy, Huong Vinh Cuu, etc. also have many programs to participate in stockpiling activities, stabilizing prices of essential commodities in the province.

Representatives of many supermarkets and businesses supplying essential goods in the province said that they are developing and implementing a plan to ensure the quantity of goods for the Tet Holiday; proactively planning to reserve goods, stabilize prices for some essential goods, as well as implement measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in the new situation.

Mr. Mai Nhat Duy, Director of Lotte Mart Dong Nai said that his supermarket had made careful preparations for the source of goods for the upcoming Tet Holiday as well as actively implemented plans to store goods in the context of the situation adaptation to the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic. In which, the supermarket is expected to increase the stock of meat, fish, vegetables and fruits by about 200%; types of instant noodles and spices increased by about 50%. Candies, Beer, soft drinks increased by 20%, etc.

According to Big C Tan Hiep, this year the supermarket's preparation for the upcoming Lunar New Year is about 2,000 tons, worth more than VND120 billion. In which, the supermarket is about to order 80 tons of candies and jams, 120 tons of confectionery and is expected to be displayed from December 15. In addition, the supermarket also actively increases the supply of pork and poultry meat and ensures the supply of clean vegetables and fruits, seasonal products such as jams and dried products during the Tet Holiday.

For enterprises specializing in the production, processing and supply of fresh food, the preparation of Tet goods has also been prepared, and an implementation plan has been developed. Mr. Nguyen Trong Tri, Deputy General Director of the food business of C.P. Vietnam Corporation (located in Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Zone), this year, C.P. Vietnam Corporation actively increased the supply of fresh products with an increase of about 10%, especially pork products increased from 20 -30% compared to Tet in previous years. Specifically, in the upcoming month of the Tet Holiday, the company has planned to reserve about 400 tons of pork, 50 tons of chicken, 20 tons of duck meat and more than 1.5 million eggs, etc.
