On December 25, the People's Committee of Bien Hoa City held a groundbreaking ceremony for an investment project to build a road along the Dong Nai River, the section from Hoa An Bridge to the border with Vinh Cuu District. Participants of the ceremony were Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung; Standing Member of Dong Nai Party Committee, Secretary of Bien Hoa City Party Committee Vo Van Chanh and leaders of departments, sectors, City Party Committee, People's Committee of Bien Hoa City.

According to the Bien Hoa City Project Management Board, which was assigned by the People's Committee of Bien Hoa City as the project investor, the Dong Nai Riverside Road Project has a total length of 5.2km, the starting point of the project. The beginning point is the Hoa An Bridge, the other end is border of Vinh Cuu District. The project is about building a road with a width of 34m, of which the roadbed is 22.5m wide, the sidewalks are 5m wide on each side, and the median strip is 1.5m wide. On the whole route, there will be a new bridge named Rach Lung Bridge. The total investment capital of the project is nearly VND1.3 trillion, of which the construction cost is more than VND473 billion and the site clearance cost is more than VND700 billion. To implement the project, Bien Hoa City had to recover the land of 587 households, of which 302 households had to clear land. Up to now, Bien Hoa City has completed the site clearance for the 3.3km section of the project. In addition to the Dong Nai Riverside Road Project, the Provincial People's Committee has also approved the construction project of Dong Nai river embankment along this route. As expected, in April 2022, this project construction will be started.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung emphasized, Dong Nai Riverside Road Project is a key project of the province implemented in Bien Hoa city. For many years, the investment and development of the infrastructure system of Bien Hoa City has not really been seen as a grade I city. Therefore, in the coming time, there will be more major projects deployed in the city to make Bien Hoa City to be a key urban area of the province.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung also requested Bien Hoa City to soon implement parallel procedures for the project to build an underpass under the Hoa An Bridge to connect Nguyen Van Tri Street with the Dong Nai Riverside Road. From there, it was promptly put into operation and opened the entire route to create a complete traffic connection.
At the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung thanked the households who gave up their land for the project to be implemented. At the same time, he hopes to get more support and consensus of the people in the implementation of upcoming projects to create riverside landscapes for everyone to benefit.
