In the construction planning of Cam My District, it is determined that the district will develop urban areas associated with high-tech industrial-agricultural areas, focusing on specialized farming. Therefore, Cam My will be divided into 4 regions and allocated land for development.
In which, the urban area is the center of urban development accompanied by industry, high-tech agriculture, services, tourism, culture and entertainment. The scale of this area is more than 8.7 thousand hectares, including Long Giao Center, Nhan Nghia Commune, and Xuan Duong Commune. Region for development of high-tech Industrial Zones, specialized and logistics services, warehouses with a scale of nearly 12.300 hectares, including communes of Song Nhan, Xuan Que, and Thua Duc. Urban areas associated with high-tech and specialized agricultural zones are buffer zones for urban development with an area of more than 8,400 hectares, including Xuan Bao, Bao Binh and Xuan My communes. The region for developing the high-tech agricultural products, specialized cultivation, and eco-tourism area, with an area of more than 16,800 hectares, includes Xay Dong, Xuan Tay, Song Ray and Lam San Communes.
In the next 10 years, the district has planned to use more than 2,500 hectares of land to deploy traffic projects to connect infrastructure for socio-economic development.
