Enterprises spent nearly 2.34 billion USD importing 3 products

​According to Dong Nai Statistics Department, from the beginning of this year until now, there are 3 items that enterprises in the area have most imported are plastics, chemicals, machinery, equipment, spare parts. In which, leading is plastic products, enterprises imported more than 405.3 thousand tons with a turnover of 762 million USD, increased 45.3% compared to the same period in 2020. Next is chemical products, about 750 million USD, increased more than 84% compared to the same period last year. For machinery, equipment and auxiliary tools, each enterprise spent about 726 million USD to import, increased more than 10%. The above three items alone accounted more than 28% of the province's total import turnover.

Plastics and chemicals purchased by enterprises to serve industrial production. As for machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts were used to assemble new production lines or change some old machinery and equipment. The main import markets of the above items were China, Japan, Taiwan, Europe, some countries in ASEAN.
