Annul the decision to establish Bau Tram Industrial Complex
On June 3, 2021, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1890/QD-UBND on annulment of the decision to establish Bau Tram Industrial Cluster in Long Khanh City, which was signed by the Provincial People's Committee in mid-February 2020. The above decision was issued on the advice of the Department of Industry and Trade, which assigned responsibility for the management of industrial clusters in the province.
Previously, on February 17, 2020, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 449/QD-UBND on the establishment of Bau Tram Industrial Cluster in Bau Tram commune with a scale of nearly 30 hectares. The main line of business is manufacturing and assembling automobiles and other industries that do not pollute the environment. At the same time, Long Khanh City also expects to relocate establishments and small businesses to industrial clusters for production and business after completing the investment in technical infrastructure. The investor of the project is Dai Phong Industrial Service Real Estate Joint Stock Company (Bien Hoa City). It is estimated that the total investment capital is nearly 265 billion VND. However, after more than 1 year of establishment, Bau Tram Industrial Cluster revoked establishment decision.
In Dong Nai, 27 industrial clusters are planned with a total area of more than 1.6 thousand hectares. Localities are proposing in the land use planning period 2021-2030 to add 12 more industrial clusters.
