Dong Nai: Budget collection at over VND 25.7 trillion

According to the report of the Department of Finance, in the first 6 months of 2020, the total state budget revenue in the province reached VND 25,748 billion, reaching 48% of the estimate. In which, domestic revenue is VND 19,065 billion, reaching 53% of the estimate, domestic revenues are quite good compared to the yearly estimate: personal income tax (55%), environmental protection tax (63). %), non-agricultural land use tax (57%), land use levy collection (203%); etc.; Revenues with a large proportion of source decentralization, such as revenues from each field of central state enterprises, revenues from local state-owned enterprises, foreign-invested enterprises, etc., reaching less than 50%.

 

Import-export revenue is VND 6,683 billion, accounting for 38% of the estimate. Local budget expenditure as of June 29, 2020 was VND 9,130 billion, accounting for 41% of the estimate. Some other fields such as rearrangement and handling of cars; house and land facilities; corporate restructuring; support and solving difficulties for those affected by the Covid-19 epidemic are also implemented according to regulations.

 

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quoc Hung highly appreciated the efforts of the financial sector in revenue collection in recent months although economic sectors were heavily influenced by Covid-19 epidemic, it faced many difficulties. Based on the general report of the financial sector, he requested the units to focus on fulfilling the budget revenue targets in the last 6 months of the year according to the original targets, reviewing the revenue sources. Particularly for the customs sector, the province recognized difficulties, but had to try to ensure the targets for Dong Nai. The Vice Chairman also asked the Department of Finance in the last 6 months to balance the spending appropriately, timely advise the provincial leaders to handle relevant issues. Along with that, he also assigned departments and agencies to make efforts and strive to apply well the proposed solutions to fulfill the targets.
