WEB PORTAL - On the afternoon of June 15, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Vinh, the departments, and two districts of Long Thanh and Nhon Trach listened to the Airports Corporation of Vietnam - JSC; Investor: Petrolimex Aviation Fuel Joint Stock Company and Consultant: Petrolimex Technology - Construction Consultants Joint Stock Company presenting the project of upstream warehouse system and fuel supply pipeline for Long Thanh International Airport.
The Consultant said that after surveying the locations, they proposed to build
a fuel depot to supply to Long Thanh International Airport in the area of Go
Dau Port. The Investor also asked the People's Committee of Dong Nai Province
to allow the study of the planned upstream gasoline depot at the location of
the proposed consultancy unit located along the Thi Vai River - between the
location of Vedan Port and Phuoc Thai General Port - has an area of 15ha (500m
of river frontage and 300m of depth).
The representative of Investor is reporting on the options to build a fuel depot for Long Thanh airport.
Also according to the Consultant, the plan for transporting fuel from the headwaters warehouse to Long Thanh International Airport will be via pipelines and pump directly to the vehicles. Fuel piping has been proposed to have the design along the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.
After listening to the presentation of the Investor, the Consultant and the comments of the provincial specialized agencies, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee agreed on a policy for researching the construction of a fuel supply depot for Long Thanh International Airport and a pipeline system as proposed by the Investor. He also emphasized that safety must ensure standards. In addition, the provincial leaders also suggested departments, branches and localities to coordinate and support in time for the Consultant to early complete the study.
