For site clearance of the priority area of Long Thanh airport (area of over 1.8 thousand hectares), currently, Long Thanh District Land Fund Development Center has completed the tally of 630 hectares of 1,007 households and individuals. The remainder is the land area of Dongnai Rubber Corporation which has been issued a Decision on land acquisition by the Provincial People's Committee and approved plans, compensation and support.
Up to the present, Long Thanh District People's Committee has approved 3 installments for 264 households and individuals with an area of more than 86 ha and the amount of compensation and support of more than VND 410 billion. Long Thanh District Land Fund Development Center has paid compensation and support to 135 households with an area of more than 44 hectares. The total amount paid to the people is more than VND 225 billion.
For the remaining area (area of over 3 thousand hectares), the Provincial Land Fund Development Center has completed ground clearance for organizations' land area. Department of Natural Resources and Environment has submitted to the Provincial People's Committee to issue a Decision on land acquisition and approval of compensation and support options for 13/18 organizations.

Regarding land of households and individuals, Long Thanh District Land Fund Development Center has counted 1,020 households with an area of more than 733 ha. It is expected to complete the tally of the remaining land areas by November 2020.
In terms of the construction progress of the infrastructure system of Loc An-Binh Son resettlement area, the authorities are currently implementing control on construction time for 5 priority bidding packages including 4 transport roads and drainage systems outside the resettlement area boundary. It is estimated that in September 2020, 5 priority bidding packages will be completed. In addition, the provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board is also currently bidding for the remaining 12 packages of infrastructure system in Loc An - Binh Son resettlement area. In particular, two power packages and water supply packages are expected to be completed and signed a contract before July 10.

Directing at the meeting, the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee has assigned responsibilities to departments, branches to prepare personnel to further increase 40 supporting staff in Long Thanh District to accelerate the inventory process, complete the compensation file for Long Thanh airport project. Long Thanh District People's Committee also focused on clearing graves in the project area. The provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board shall strictly control the construction schedule of technical infrastructure packages, while early commencing the construction of social infrastructure projects, ensuring the uniformity of Loc An-Binh Son resettlement area so as to ensure time for movement of households.
