Temporary hospital No. 4 began accepting patients from the evening of July 18

​The doctors and nurses of Dong Nai Children's Hospital coming to work at the temporary hospital No. 4.

This hospital is located at the Center for National Defense and Security Education of Dong Nai Province (Tan An Commune, Vinh Cuu District) with a capacity of nearly 400 beds.

Accordingly, Dr. Le Anh Phong, Deputy Director of Dong Nai Children's Hospital was assigned to be in charge of the operation of the 4th temporary hospital. In addition to the medical force of doctors and nurses of Dong Nai Children's Hospital, the doctors and nurses of Dong Nai Hospital – No.2, and Dong Nai International Hospital (Hoan My Group) also come to the site.

The physicians in the temporary hospital will treat and encourage the mild or asymptomatic Covid-19 patients, early detects Covid-19 patients with severe symptoms to transfer to hospitals for severe Covid-19 treatment.

Before the medical group of doctors and nurses set off on duty, the Director of Dong Nai Children's Hospital, Dr. Nguyen Le Da Ha thanked and expressed respect for the doctors and nurses who did not mind the difficulties and dangers to volunteerily coming to the temporary hospital to work; the doctors and nurses have to be very careful during their duties to minimize the cross-contamination in the treatment area, comply with the the 5-K principle (in Vietnamese) Khau trang (facemask)- (Khu khuan) disinfection- (Khoang cach) distance- (Khong tu tap) no gathering – (Khai bao y te) health declaration, limit contact with colleagues, and keep a distance from patients.

It is known that the functional forces are rushing to prepare the necessary conditions to put into use the temporary hospital No.5 for Covid-19 treatment at the College of Mechanics and Irrigation (located in Ho Nai 3 Commune, Trang Bom District).
