The verification report by Economic and Budget Committee at Dong Nai People’s Council indicates that several solutions are being implemented slowly.
- Solutions to review regulations concerning compensation and site clearance and issuance of appropriate administrative procedures, and how to increase the staff in charge of compensation and site clearance to facilitate the implementation of projects.
- Solutions to review comprehensive planning for the province’s socio-economic development, planning for sectors, and planning at district levels that suit reality and meet requirements for future development.
- Issuance of the assistance structure that helps breeding facilities to relocate or change their types of business.
The verification report by Cultural and Social Committee at Dong Nai People's Council said:
“In the first half of 2011, Culture, Sports and Tourism held successful propaganda programs to welcome the success of the 11th National Party Congress and the election at all levels in 2011-2016 period, and activities to celebrate major holidays to fulfill the province’s political tasks.”
“In the first half of 2011, more than 1.3 million tourists visited Dong Nai and cultural households account for 95.3 percent.”
“However, Culture, Sports and Tourism still show several weaknesses. Land planning, construction funds, funding for facilities for cultural constructions and cultural models for industrial park workers in many localities have not been paid much enough attention to by levels of authorities and sectors. Solutions to call for socialization in the field of culture, sports and tourism have not showed effectiveness.”
The verification report by Legal Department at Dong Nai People's Council states that crime in the first half of 2011 changes in a complicated way, and that the number of serious and dangerous cases appears to increase.
Therefore, it is necessary to concentrate on a serious review and evaluation of serious crime and of measures to prevent and combat crime which have been implemented recently in units and localities.
The same afternoon, Vice Chairperson of Dong Nai People's Council Huynh Thi Nga mentioned the draft report on the issuance of operational regulations of the 8th Dong Nai People's Council in 2011-2016 period and reported on the contents in need of discussion.
Then, four groups of meeting participants started discussions.
On the morning of July 15, the meeting continued its agenda.
