On the morning of June 14, election summation of the 13th National Assembly Deputies and Dong Nai People’s Council Delegates at all levels in 2011-2016 period took place at the hall of Dong Nai Party Committee.

The summation meeting was attended by Member of the Standing Committee at Dong Nai Party Committee and Chairperson of Dong Nai People’s Council Tran Van Tu, Vice Chairperson of Dong Nai People's Council Huynh Thi Nga, Chairperson of Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, and Vice Chairperson of Dong Nai People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tri.

Outstanding collectives are awarded emulation flags

Dong Nai Election Committee’s summation report says that over nearly four preparation months, thanks to the whole political system’s participation and the people’s positive response, the election of the 13th National Assembly deputies and People’s Council delegates at all levels in 2011-2016 period came to a successful close.

The election ensures requirements like democracy, equality and legal requirements, safety, and economy and is actually a democratic political activity and a great festival for the people as well.

Election results show that some indicators concerning Dong Nai People’s Council’s delegates structure have not been reached as follows:

- Initially, it is expected that female delegates percentage is 28.75 percent/ 33.33 percent, young delegates 6.25 percent/ 14.18 percent, delegates outside the Party 8.75 percent/ 16.3 percent, ethnic delegates 1.25 percent/2.69 percent, and religious delegates 1.25 percent/ 1.45 percent. However, basically the election set a right orientation and made appropriate structure.

- The quality of delegates was raised, the required delegates at each polling location were elected, and the percentage of voters going to polls changed for the better.

- The candidates nominated by the central government in Dong Nai and the province’s leaders at polling locations for the National Assembly deputies and People's Council delegates at all levels won most votes.

The meeting

The great success of the election was thanks to clear directions, and strong leadership in preparation steps. Particularly, the process of discussion meetings was followed and meetings with voters and election propaganda programs were performed creatively and actively, which makes voters understand the significance of the election and vote right and smart.

Addressing the meeting, Chairperson of Dong Nai People's Council Tran Van Tu highly appreciated Dong Nai’s preparation work for the election, especially its propaganda programs to call for a large number of people to go to polls eagerly. As a result, 99.73 percent of voters went to polls in
Election Day.

The election was a great success. This great result was thanks to Dong Nai’s calling for the whole political system’s participation in the country’s great festival.

The election met such criteria as democracy, equality, legal requirements, safety and economy.

Chairperson of Dong Nai People’s Council asked that concerned agencies keep disseminating election results to all classes of people and stabilize their structure to perform the entire term’s tasks successfully.

Collectives are awarded Dong Nai People’s Committee’s certificates of merit

On this occasion, Dong Nai People’s Committee awarded emulation flags to 20 outstanding collectives, and certificates of merit to 202 collectives and 414 individuals who obtained achievements in the election of the 13th National Assembly deputies and People's Council delegates at all levels in 2011-2016 period.
