Rapporteur Meeting for Southern Provinces and Cities Opens

The comrades: Member of the Central Party Committee and Deputy Head of the Central Commission for Propaganda and Education Nguyen Bac Son, Member of the Central Party and Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh, Vice Chairperson of Dong Nai People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tri, Head of Dong Nai Commission for Propaganda and Education Huynh Van Toi attended the meeting.

Addressing the meeting, Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh read a brief report of the province’s socio-economy in recent years.

Thanh asserted that the achievements Dong Nai has obtained were thanks to the considerable contributions and intelligence of the Propaganda and Education officers and rapporteurs who have done a good job on the dissemination of the Party’s guidelines and the government’s policies and laws to officers, Party members, youth union members, and people from all walks of life.

Rappoteurs have fully grasped the situation in a timely manner and reflected the people’s opinions and aspirations in all aspects, thereby providing levels of Party committees and authorities with effective solutions to dealing with problems.

The Central Commission for Propaganda and Education’s holding a rapporteur meeting for the Southern provinces and cities in Dong Nai is great honor for the province and offers favorable conditions to the province’s Propaganda and Education for its stronger and stronger development.

Thanks to this meeting, Dong Nai’s Propaganda and Education people have a chance to improve their knowledge, exchange, and learning, and to share their experience with the rapporteurs from other provinces and cities.

The meeting is scheduled to take place June 21 through 22. At the meeting, rapporteurs will be provided with information on:

- The Secretary Committee’s conclusion on the propaganda of “Special Relationship History between Vietnam and Laos” project.

- The issues concerning the world, the Party and the government’s external affairs in the first half of 2011 and directions and tasks in the second half of 2011.

- Sea and island security in recent times, fighting for the country’s sovereignty over sea and islands, and propaganda directions in the forthcoming coming time.

On this occasion, meeting participants will also pay a visit to and made a field trip to some regions and units in Dong Nai.
