At the reception, Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh made the new Malaysian Consul General a brief report on Dong Nai’s socio-economic situation. Dong Nai has nearly 1,000 active FDI projects and Malaysian companies have poured investment in many large projects, said Thanh.

In the coming years, Dong Nai aims to grow rapidly, make its infrastructure and human resources develop more quickly, and invest more in science and technology to keep increasing its competitiveness and investment capital attraction.

Addressing the reception, Mr. Shazryll bin Zahiran expressed his thanks to the provincial leadership for facilitating Malaysian companies’ investment in Dong Nai and said that he would call for many other Malaysian companies to invest in the province.

He hoped that Dong Nai would assist Malaysian companies in accelerating the implementation progress of such huge projects as Nhon Trach New City Center and Beryaja’s Five Star Hotel.
