Chairperson of Dong Nai People’s Committee Receives Malaysian Consul General

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Chairperson of Dong Nai People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai warmly received Malaysian Consul General’s visit to Dong Nai, reporting to him on the province’s socio-economic achievements in recent years.

Thai put emphasis on social issues, stable security and order, and favorable investment climate, which help attract a strong flow of foreign investment capital into the province.

Up to now, Dong Nai has had 978 projects with a total investment capital of US$19.4 billion from 35 countries and territories, added Thai.

Particularly, Malaysia has carried out more than 29 projects with a total investment capital of nearly US$1 billion. Dong Nai always encourages the investment of investors from Malaysia and other countries into the province.

Mr. Shazrill Bin Zahiran thanked for Chairperson of Dong Nai People’s Committee’s great interest and rousing reception. He said that Malaysian investors have great potentials in infrastructure technologies and hoped that Dong Nai would take interest in and create conditions for Malaysian investors to do long-term business in the province.
