Dong Nai Leadership Meet with Korean Consul General

Chairperson of Dong Nai People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai awards the province’s symbolic logo to Korean Consul General

At the reception, on behalf of the provincial leadership Chairperson Dinh Quoc Thai was delighted to welcome the new Consul General’s visit to Dong Nai.

Thai made a brief report on Dong Nai’s socio-economic development and Korean investors’ business and production activities in the province to the Consul General.

Korea has invested in 233 projects with a total capital of US$3.4 billion in Dong Nai. Foreign investors including Korean ones have made great contributions to Dong Nai’s economic growth in recent years.

Thai expressed his excitement seeing a better and better relationship between Vietnam and Korea, and Korea and  Dong Nai as well.

Gyeongnam province and Dong Nai have established a relationship that is becoming closer and closer.

Thai expressed his desire that as a new Korean Consul General Mr. Oh Jae Hack will help promote bilateral relations and investment into Dong Nai.

Korean Consul General Oh Jae Hack thanked Thai for spending his valuable time for Korean delegation and wished that Dong Nai’s authorities will keep providing Korean companies with favorable conditions and that the relationship between Korea and Dong Nai through Dong Nai-based Korean Investment Association will be fostered.
