The ceremony was attended by Member of the Central Party and Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh, Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Vo Van Mot, Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai, Chairwoman of Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, and Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Council Huynh Chi Thang.

Dong Nai Election Committee’s report says that Dong Nai province has a huge number of voters, but many of them come from other regions, which results in a heavy election-related workload.

Thanks to the leadership and direction of the Standing Committee at Dong Nai Party Committee, People’s Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee, thanks to the activeness, positiveness, creativeness of the Election Committees of levels of authorities, sectors, committees, agencies, and units, the election of the 13th National Assembly and of levels of People’s Council in 2011-2016 period came to a success close.

99.73 percent of voters went to polls.

Implementation steps were taken systematically and at the required rate of progress.

Security and order were maintained, communications activities were paid attention to, and the Election Day’s atmosphere showed that it was a big event among the people.

The election in the province met such fundamental requirements as “Many a voter, enough voters, vote right and vote correct”.

Of 134 candidates for Dong Nai People’s Council, 80 ones were elected.

Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Huynh Chi Thang stressed that after more than three months of preparation, thanks to the whole political system’s efforts and interest, the election of the 13th National Assembly and of levels of People's Council in 2011-2016 period came to a successful close.

Also, Thang suggested that districts’ Election Committees urgently review all summation work and recommend units and individuals who have fulfilled their election tasks for rewards.

 A mid-June summation ceremony is scheduled to be held by Dong Nai Election Committee.
