The 4-party conference on the implementation of basic contents approved by the 8th meeting of 7th provincial People’s Council.

This morning, provincial Standing Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committees and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has held a 4-party meeting to pass the basic contents of the 8th meeting of 7th provincial People’s Council, aiming to achieve the socioeconomic targets in 2006 and the following years.

25hop4benThe meeting is unanimous in its agreements that the first 13 contents of the Resolution approved by the 7th provincial People’s Council must be quickly carried out as well as the complaints of voters should be clearly answered by functional agencies and departments. In addition, to work out plan for socioeconomic development and state budget in accordance with the new norm for the year 2007 and for the period from 2007 to 2010.

According to the general development orientation toward 2010, Dongnai will become a mordent industrial province. To achieve this, from 2006 the socioeconomic development of the province should obtain the high criteria to meet the demand of sustainable development. The targets for 2007 are the GDP growth rate of from 14 to 14.5%, the added production value of industry and construction to reach over 60 ,000 billion VND, export turnover to obtain 5 billion USD, the total capital source for social development to gain 19,000 billion VND; to create jobs for 95,000 people and to help 5,000 families to overcome poverty.

At the meeting, five types of solution have been proposed. Of these solutions are to mobilize all domestic and foreign resources to invest and develop production; to perfect investment environment and to remove adversities causing to enterprises and entrepreneurs as to encourage them to do business. Besides, Dongnai also proposes to the Government to quickly construct technical infrastructure systems in the province and to allow Dongnai to use all the tax that is surplus to the State Budget’s requirement for building socioeconomic infrastructure.
