The anniversary was attended by Member of the Central Party and Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh, and Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee and Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Vo Van Mot.
Until December 2010, Dong Nai had 30 industrial parks built on a total area of more than 9,500 hectares. 3,700 hectares have been leased, accounting for nearly 60 percent of leased land.
35 countries and territories have invested in 1,130 projects.
822 foreign investment projects have a total investment capital of nearly US$130 billion and 309 domestic investment projects have a total investment capital of over VND31.6 trillion (or US$15.04 billion).

In 2010, industrial park businesses achieved total sales of US$9.99 billion, with exports value worth more than US$5.4 billion, and import value worth US$6.21 billion.
Collected taxes and other amounts contributed to the State budget reached US$323 million.
Dong Nai’s industrial park workers have totaled 377,967 people, accounting for 25 percent of the whole country’s industrial park workers.
Particularly, there are 5,100 foreign workers. Infrastructure investment companies have poured more than VND4.27 trillion (or US$203.65 million) and US$85 million into infrastructure.

Most of industrial parks have completed infrastructure to meet investors’ needs such as electricity supply, water supply, transport systems, lighting systems, telecommunications networks, wastewater treatment systems to attract heavy domestic investment capital.
At the anniversary, Dong Nai People’s Committee made an announcement about three industrial parks in Bien Hoa: Lotecco, Amata, and Bien Hoa 2.
