Activities to Welcome the Party and Lunar New Year 2011 (The Year of Cat)

The same morning, the Standing Committee at Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee held a get-together for and extended Tet holiday wishes to officers and civil servants within the province’s Party organs and reminisced about the the Party’s 81-year tradition.

Thereby, these activities helped increase officers and civil servants’ pride of the achievements of the country and the province and made their efforts to fulfill given tasks to contribute to effectively implementing the resolutions of Dong Nai 9th Party Congress and the 11th National Party Congress.

* Bien Hoa Municipal Party Committee gave Party badges to 142 Party members with their over-30-year service in the Party on the morning of January 27.

Particularly, 19, 12, 33 and 78 Party members received 60-year-service-in-the-Party, 50-year-service-in-the-Party, 40-year-service-in-the-Party and 30-year-service-in-the-Party badges, respectively.

Up to now, Bien Hoa municipal Party organs have had 4,364 Party members with over-30-year-service-in-the-Party badges and have become a unit with the largest number of Party members with Party badges in the province.

* To create a nice and happy atmosphere to welcome Lunar New Year 2011 (The Year of Cat) and the 81st Anniversary of the Foundation Day of the Communist Party of Vietnam, a lot of recreational activities will be held in various locations in Bien Hoa city and other areas as from January 29th (or the 26th of Lunar December).

The units at Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will perform music pieces entitled “Honoring the Party and Uncle Ho and Welcome A Happy New Year” at Dong Nai Sporting Hall.

As of the 28th of Lunar December, eight mobile groups in charge of showing movies from the Cinema and Film Release Center will serve the audiences in far-flung areas and in worker’s hostels in Bien Hoa city and in Trang Bom, Long Thanh and Nhon Trach districts throughout Tet holidays.

In addition to such Vietnamese movies as “Thang Long Hero, The Legend is Alive, Clash and so on”, file movies about the Party and Uncle Ho will also be shown for propaganda purposes on the Foundation Day of the Party.

Bien Hoa Megastar will offer consecutive movie session times to meet cinema goers’ needs.

* January 28th, Dong Nai Youth Union held Tet holiday visits to the staff and the students of Dong Nai Social Labor and Education Center and performed music exchange pieces.

Apart from practical new year gifts sent to the center’s students, youth unions of Xuan Loc district, Dong Nai Police and youth union members performed in music exchange pieces to welcome the new year as an encouragement to their learning spirit.
