Dong Nai honored outstanding doctors, People’s doctors and Scientists who won the awards in the nation-level invention contest.

Outstanding doctors of the province

 Attending at the ceremony were Mr. Huynh Van Toi, member of provincial standing committee of the Party and Vice chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, member of  provincial standing committee of the Party and vice chairwoman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

On the occasion of Vietnam Physician Day, 18 doctors across the province have been awarded the title of “outstanding doctors”, namely Trần Trung Thuận, Phạm Văn Long (Department of Health), Huỳnh Xuân Nhị (Dong Nai General Hopital), Nguyễn Trọng Nơi, Bùi Văn Xờ (Dong Nai Pediatrics Hospital), Nguyễn Văn Truyện (Thong Nhat General Hospital), Trần Trung Tá (Dong Nai Dermatology Hospital), Cao Trọng Ngưỡng, Trần Ngọc, Lương Thị Nguyệt (Public Health Center of Xuan Loc district), Hoàng Văn Chi, Trần Thị Dần, Võ Tấn Tràng, Ngô Đức Lương (Public Health Center of Bien Hoa City), Hoàng Văn Hoá, Đỗ Thị Bản (Public Health Center of Trang Bom district), Nguyễn Đức Hiền (Provincial Traditional Medicine), Nguyễn Văn Tới (Public Health Center of Vinh Cuu district). So far, in the province there are 68 doctors who have been awarded the title of “outstanding doctors”. This is the highest figure nationwide.

Talent scientists

To honor and encourage individuals and groups who have great contributions to successfully implement science, information technology and telecommunication project in Dong Nai province, the provincial People’s Committee has conferred certificate of merit on 5 scientists and one group, namely Dr. Pham Van Sang, Director of Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province; Mr. Le Thanh Hoa and Mr. Vo Duy Minh, technical officers of Dong Nai Battery Company; Mr. Le Minh Phuoc, professor at Pedagogy College of Dong Nai Province; Mr. Vu Cong Tam, Deputy head of surgical department of Dong Nai  Pediatrics Hospital; and the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province which have sponsored many talents to compete in the national invention contest. These scientists have contributed to develop science and technology of the province and had won high achievements in the 8th national invention contest.
