Dr. Dang Ngoc Tung is listening to workers' anxiety

 The company managing board had informed the vice chairman that after the outbreak of the strike the company had made changes to the company’s labor policy so as to settle disputes. As a result, since March 2006, workers who have been working in the company for over 3 years will receive VND 25,000 for one year seniority.

Speaking at the meeting with the company’s managing board and trade union, Dr. Dang Ngoc Tung was especially interested in the implementation of the state policy and the improvement of worker living standard. He greatly appreciated concerted efforts made by the province, the city and the company in satisfactorily solving nearly all problems concerning worker wage, benefit and job bonuses. By the morning of 16th March, 14,600 out of 15,000 workers in shift one and administration had resumed their work at the company. Dr. Dang Ngoc Tung eased the workers’ anxiety and conferred that their legal interest are protected by the State and the Law. He also reminded workers that the trade union always fought for the legal rights of labors and the labors should told their dissatisfactions to trade union.
