Thailand Consulate General visits Dong Nai province

It is the first time Mr. Songpong Sanguan- Bun visits Dong Nai since he took his office in Vietnam 2 years ago. On speaking with the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, he highly valued the investment potential of Dong Nai province and praised Dong Nai for its efforts to attract foreign investments, especially its investment incentive policies. As a matter of fact, Dong Nai has become a promising destination for investors from all over the world. He unveiled that with successful businesses in Dong Nai, CP Group has now been a typical example for the successful investment of Thai enterprises into foreign countries. He also committed to persuade Thai investors to vigorously invest into Vietnam, especially Dong Nai province. Finally, he hoped that Dong Nai authorities would quickly solve recent strikes in the province so as to create a good environment for investments.

The Chairman of provincial People’s Committee highly appreciated the Consulate General’s cares and suggestions. He confirmed that Dong Nai had decided to pursue its motto of “Dong Nai will always accompany with you to your success” and provincial leaders were willing to take into account complaints and suggestions from enterprises so as to enhance the investment environment in Dong Nai province. As for recent strikes taking place in the province, Mr. Chairman explained that some enterprises had not fully obeyed the legislation of Vietnam. He also informed a good new to the Consulate General that most of Thai entrepreneurs in Dong Nai had fair command of Vietnamese language and the relation between Thai employers and Vietnamese employee was pretty good. Therefore, up to now there have no strikes occurring in Thai enterprises. He also hoped that the Consulate General would help to tie the relationship between Vietnam and Thailand and to support Dong Nai delegation on its trip to Chommory province, a sister-to-be of Dong Nai province.
