Dong Nai People’s Council’s 15th extraordinary meeting (Session VII): voting for the allowance for neighborhood security guards

On the morning of April 9, Dong Nai People's Council (Session VII) held the 15th extraordinary meeting, in which the Council listened to the delegates’ ideas on the allowance for neighborhood security guards in the province. Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh – Secretary of the provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting.

The whole view of the meeting

    To ensure the legal foundation for the allowance for neighborhood security guards in the province to create favorable conditions for the guards who serve their role as the people’s force and who are voluntary to maintain social order and safety to help them fulfil their tasks, the provincial People's Committee suggested that the provincial People’s Council consider and approve of the allowance for neighborhood security guards as follows: the monthly allowance is equal to the minimum salary level at the time when neighborhood security guards are entitled to the allowance and depends on their job titles. Head of the neighborhood security board is entitled to the coefficient of allowance – 0.7 compared to the minimum salary level and Deputy Head – 0.6, Head of the neighborhood security team – 0.5 and Deputy Head – 0.4 and security guards – 0.3. Each of the neighborhood security guards will receive VND20,000/ person/ night if they go on night patrol.

Electing new staffs

    At the meeting, the delegates of the provincial People’s Council voted for the leaving office of a people's juror and two members of the provincial People's Committee and a Vice chairman of the provincial People's Committee and a member of the provincial People’s Committee. As a result, Mr. Tran Minh Phuc – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, who was born in 1957, is elected as the Vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.
