According to the Provincial Department of Veterinary Medicine, it has imported 10,000 doses of JXAI-R vaccine of North America strain from China to experimentally vaccinate the pig herd in Thua Duc commune (Cam My district) and Phu Son Pig Farm (Trang Bom district).

After tests, if it

This is a new type of vaccine
imported from China by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. As
valuated by China, this vaccine is capable of preventing swine from the
blue-eared disease very effectively. After the injection tests and examinations,
if it works, with high rates of protection and prevention against the disease,
the vaccine will be used widely. As known, at present, the province has
announced 11 blue-eared pig outbreaks and veterinary sector has destroyed nearly
19 thousand untreatable infected pigs.
