Insect and Disease Prevention for Crops in Blooming and Fruit-bearing Time

 At present, some variaties of fruit plants such as cashew, mango, rambutan, durian, pomelo, etc. are in blooming and fruit-bearing period. For for timely prevention of insects and diseases harming young leaves, flowers and young fruits, Department of Plant Protection recommends that farmers need to take more intensive precaution measures.

Plant care in this development period is vital, deciding the resulting productivity.

    It is noted that spraying in full bloom period shoul not be made and sure water suply must be enough for plants to form fruits. For dry young fruit phenomena, it is requred to make early prevention by offering enough manure, spraying agaisnt stink bugs, thrips, colectotrichum zibethinum to protect the crops.
