According to Dong Nai department of agriculture and rural development, 70,503 hectares of plants has been cultivated.

    As known, caltivated areas include 32,000 hectares of rice, 21,000 hectares of corn, 9,000 vegetables and other short-term industrial plants. Many of these plants have higher productivity than the previous crops including in estimation, rice will reach 440 kilos/hectare, corn 570 kilos/hectare, and vegatebles 1,240 kilos/hectare. In spring autumn crop farmers plan to cultivate 36,000 hectares in which there will be 15,000 hectares of rice, 8,4300 hectares of corn, 5,000 hectares of vegetables and 2,000 hectares of bean and 10,000 hectares of other kinds of plants.
