On June 24, Customs Department of Dong Nai province organized a workshop on introducing and guiding about VNACCS with the participation of Mr. Hiroki Sakurai, Chief Consultant of VNACCS projects in Vietnam and nearly 100 Japanese enterprises.
The Japanese-funded VNACCS stands for Vietnam automated cargo clearance system. This system facilitates customs agency, importers and exporters to shorten cargo clearance time, to limit the use of paperwork by applying electronic signatures, to tighten connection with ministries and departments through national one-stop mechanism, to improve international commerce and trade environment and to minimize cost in international trade, etc.
VNACCS is going to be deployed in Vietnam and in Dong Nai from April, 2014
