Dong Nai is the first province to open land use registration office in the country

​Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DONRE) recently organized a conference on summarizing the implementation of pilot scheme to consolidate one-level registration office for land use right (LUR) under the authority of the DONRE and announced its decision on opening land registration office. 


​Since 2012, Prime Minister has chosen Dong Nai together with three other provinces including Ha Nam, Hai Phong, Da Nang as pilot points for implementing this scheme. After nearly two years of applying the pilot model, one-level registration office for land use rights certified more than 108,000 land use right certificates. In addition, the office registered and created land databases for 64 communes with more than 202,000 parcels of land and provided land information for more than 11,000 people. In mid of May 2014, land use right registration office earned 123 billion VND, submitting more than 12 billion VND to state budget. 



At the conference, the department has announced its decision to set up land registration office on the basis of land use right registration office. This is the first land registration office to be established in the country, in consistent with the implementation of Land Law 2013 which is valid from July 1st.
