Industrial Production in October gained over VND 10 thousand billion

             Industrial production in October 2011 gained VND 10,045 billion, up 1.6 percent against the previous month. The cumulative for the past ten months of 2011 gained VND 96,598 billion, up 17.3 percent over the same period or 80 percent of the year plan.

             9 out of 9 industry groups saw an increase in production value, including 10 percent increase in exploitation and production  of building materials, 20 percent increase in processing of agricultural and food products, 24 percent increase in textile, garment and footwear, 18.7 percent for wood and bamboo processing, 7 percent increase in papers and publishing, 14 percent increase in chemicals, rubber ad plastic;  15 percent increase in machinery, 7.6 percent increase in electrics and electronics and 30 percent increase in power and water.
