Workers through vocational training represent 51 percent.

According to Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs’ statistics, unskilled workers,  technical workers without certificates,  technical workers with certificates, workers with associate’s degree or college degrees, and workers with university or higher degrees in industrial parks account for 41 percent (or 164,000 workers), 28 percent, 15 percent, 10 percent, and 6 percent, respectively.

Most industrial workers sign a long-term employment contract with employers. Particularly, the contracts of a minimum of one year account for 91 percent and the rest is those below one year.

Due to employers’ growing quality-labor demand, rural laborers’ awareness is changing for the better and laborers themselves seek for vocational training and job opportunities.

As a result, 200,000 rural laborers have flocked to the province’s industrial parks for job opportunities, which have made contributions to creating a transition in its labor employment structure.

Between 1990 and 2002, the government’s labor suppliers were in charge of labor supply and employment provision.

Up to now, Employment Law has been amended, which allows employers to recruit workers by themselves without going through employment provision centers.

Basically, employment creation in 1990-2010 period met employers’ labor demand.

Industrial park companies attract a large number of laborers

Employers have applied new worker recruitment methods; for instance, going to wards, and hamlets to announce their employment plans and directly recruit workers, publicizing recruitment plans on the Internet, asking their workers to introduce new workers, making an announcement of their preferential policies concerning salary, bonus, allowance, and so on.

Thereby, workers’ life becomes improved and they would like to stay with employers for a long time.

In the coming time, due to the growing development demand of industrial parks employment demand is expected to grow.

Approximately 194,000 laborers are expected to be employed in 2011-2015 period and 175,000 laborers in 2016-2020. Especially, the demand for skilled and highly-educated laborers is growing.

Between 2011 and 2015, employers have a recruitment demand for 8 percent of workers with university or higher degrees, 10 percent with associate’s degrees, 55 percent of skilled workers, and 275 unskilled workers.

From 2016 to 2020, employers are expected to recruit 10 percent of workers with university or higher degrees and 60 percent of skilled workers.
