In February, Export-import Quota is Estimated to Hit US$958 Million

According to report by the department of Industry and Trade, export-import quota in February, 2009 retains about US$958 million in some estimation, 40.1% higher than last month. In the first two months, it is estimated to gain US$1,641million, making up 81.60% compared with the same period, fulfiling 8.7% of 2009 plan.

    In details, export quota is calculated to reach US$487.11, up 27.4% in comparison with last month. Major local exports in February range from coffee, woodwork, clothing, footwares, pottery to arty handicrafts.

    Import quota, in estimation, gains US$470.58 with an increase of 56.3% apposed to last month. Typical imports are chemicals (US$30,000), medicines (US$365,000), tobaco ancillary material (US$2.67 million) and other ancillary production materials  (US$5.89 million)
