Vietnam Agricultural Exhibition-Fair 2009 is where for honoring prominent agricultural trade names

Vietnam agricultural exhibition-fair 2009 is one of programs for trade promotion and agricultural encouragement, fishery encouragement of Dongnai province in partnership with Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, aimed at creating favorable conditions for enterprises, cooperatives, and farmers to introduce and popularize agricultural, forestry and fishery products as well as consuming products for farmers.

Moreover, it also created advantages so that enterprises can find partners buying and selling technological products and equipments and cooperate as well as invest, boost and develop production in international integration environment. At this fair, outstanding achievements of Vietnamese agriculture will be presented and displayed, such as kinds of rice seeds, plants, animals with high productivity and quality. Machines, devices, new technology for production, harvest, preservation, agriculture-forestry-aquaculture process will be introduced.  

 Besides, it also presented rural trades, traditional village trades, information technology services for production and life. As noted, most of districts, towns in Dongnai have a stall to display famous fruits including Long Khanh Java rambutans, Tan Trieu pomelos, Xuan Loc durians, etc. Nguyen Thi Kim Loan of farmers’ association, gardeners’ association  of Vinh Cuu district said, “The fair is simultaneous with the ripe fruit season, so we choose the best fruits to introduce in this fair”. As known, this fair will hold a contest entitled “ Good fruits of Southeast”

A lot of activities held in the fair

Vietnam agricultural exhibition-fair 2009 is expected to attract 10,000 farmers inside and outside the city to visit and shop. Besides displaying and presenting products, the fair also hold activities such as holding the contest “Integrative Emperor Shen Nong Gold Cup” and award typical agricultural trade names, the contest “good fruits of Southeast”, award gold medals to high quality products, etc. According to Pham Minh Bau-Deputy Director of Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the head of the organization board, besides contests, the board also holds seminars on issues that concern a lot of farmers and public, including agricultural encouragement, science-technology, biogas in agricultural production, good agricultural production, GAP in fruits and vegetables, effects and preventions for A/H1N1 flu. And other activities were held such as giving direct advices about agricultural technique to farmers, presenting gifts to poor studious students in the local, presenting machines, devices created by farmers, etc. To attract and create favorable conditions for farmers to visit the fair, the organization board also held a group to pick up farmers so that they can visit the fair, take part in seminars, helping them have a chance to access to science and technology advances to apply in production.
