According to the Department of Planning and Investment, the total newly-registered capital and the capital increase of the foreign-invested projects have hit US$64.3 million, accounting for 3.2% of the plan goals, equal to 3.2% over the same period.

    Among the projects, there are five new projects with the registered capital of US$17 million. Ten certificates for a capital increase of US$47.3 million have been issued. Over the past six months, the total newly-registered and increased capital of the projects is estimated at US$300 million, accounting for 15% of the plan goals, equal to 13.8% over the same period. Up to now, the province has had 959 projects with a total investment capital of US$14,934 million.

    So far, 29 industrial parks have been licensed to be built. They have a total area of 6,002 hectares for lease, including 3,600 hectares being leased, accounting for approximately 60% of the leasing area.

    In terms of domestic investment attraction, 23 projects with a total capital of VND8,130 billion have been licensed for five months. Until now, the province has had 147 domestic investment projects with a total registered capital of VND56,781 billion.
