According to the working visit scheduled in Thailand on May 3rd, Dong Nai delegation led by Mr. Vo Van Chanh – Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee had a meeting with Thailand Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives.

Present at the meeting with Dong Nai delegation: Dr. Juadee Pongmaneerat – Deputy Director of Institute of Fisheries (under Thailand Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives), representative of Thailand Department of Agriculture Extension, Department of Agriculture Promotion, Department of Fisheries, Department of Cooperation and Agriculture. The two parties discussed the production planning, State policies to support cooperatives and farming development; organizing and manufacturing, quality control and product consumption details researching and transferring science-technology innovation to farmers. In recent years, Thailand Government concentrated on sustainable development by implementing economic development projects funded by the King. With suitable policies of development by promoting farmers’ important roles, Thailand became a powerful country in agricultural product, food and fruit… processing and export.
Before the meeting, on May 2nd afternoon, the delegation had had a friendly visit to Vietnam Embassy in Bankok and burned incense in front of Ho Chi Minh monument inside the embassy.
