On May 23rd, Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee – Mr. Tran Van Vinh worked with local departments on adjusting planning on Dinh Quan, Tan Phu, Gia Ray towns, and Dong Nai Biotechnology Application Central.
According to Director of Department of Natural Resources and Environment – Mr. Le Viet Hung, the planning adjustment shall be conducted based on land-use planning approved by the government and the province. In response, Mr. Deputy Chairman highlighted that all districts, towns and cities that apply for planning adjustment shall review by themselves to ensure the consistency with actual situation and shall complete it by the end of 2016. Planning shall prioritize to reserve land for healthcare and education construction projects since the provincial population is growing mechanically fast.
As for Dong Nai Biotechnology Application Center, the Province allows adjusting net house density from 30% to 70%. However, according to Department of Construction and Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the mission of the Center is to bring hi-tech models, new cultivars into research first and wide application; leasing enterprise land to invest in net houses shall promote mass production which shall not ensure provincial criteria. In response, Mr. Deputy Chairman noticed Department of Science and Technology about reviewing 8 certificated projects again to see if they meet the criteria of a researching project, only then pass them for replication.
