Local residents express their opinions

Under the project on building warehouses in the Residential Quarter No.8, there are 28 households whose land was revokedwith a total area of 7,000m2. These households have settled in Long Binh ward since 1985 and there are no land disputes. However, when having the decision on revoking their land to build warehouses in 2003, they stated that the policies on land compensation and support has been not unreasonable yet including unreasonable inventory of land and its attached assets, too low land compensation, and too high land price in resettlement areas, etc. At the meeting, the delegation recorded and explained local residents' opinions; asking competent authorities and local residents to provide more relevant documents in order to early submit all documents to the Government for consideration.
