Thuy Quynh, Fated to Pursue Beauty Care Occupation

    Light hearted and active manner was what we were first impressed about her. She said she was fated to followed beauty care career. She, just like other high school friends, had burning desire to be a student at university but she failed. “When I knew I could not pass the entrance exam when others could, I was extremely upset,” said Quynh. However, her life windows could not be closes because of so much consolidation and encouragement from her beloved.

    It is Quynh’s father who makes significant effect on her. Knowing that Quynh is so interested in make-up and aesthetics, he recommends her to try this field. A bit confusion and wonder if the beauty care could bring her a fruitful business but her father’s advice helped her keep her determination. He said the concept “full food and enough clothing” had gone away but “delicious food and good looking clothing” so he thought beauty care could potentially a “promise land” for his daughter. Then she had decision of pursuing this field at Lina center for vocational training and aesthetics. She explained “I choose this center to start may career because I have considerate instructors and very social friends here, similar to my family. I had been chosen to work at Lina center right after the course finished."

    Thuy Quynh exceeded other competitors and won the first prize for beauty care field at the national contest on Young Professional skill. In the ASEAN Professional Skills Contest, she will also compete in 4 contents: hair make-up, female facial skin care, female nail design and female body care. On these days she must spend most of my time preparing for the ASIAN Contest. She has been being trained by Tran Thu Thuy, center director and their experts 8 hours a day.

    She shared her feeling with us: “I so pride myself on being one Vietnamese representative along with heavy responsibility. This is a good chance for me to learn as well as show our beauty care skills to international partners. I am going try my best.”
