More Than 3,100 Mid-August Festival Gifts Offered to Exceptionally Needy Children

Bureau for Social Patron and Children Care said that to enjoy and share joy with exceptionally needy children in Dong Nai, Dong Nai Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs would organize visits and offer more than 3,100 gifts  on the occasion of Mid-August Festival 2011.

Gifts are worth VND100,000 each. Gift costs were covered by the province’s budget for child care.

Paying visits to and offering gifts to needy children in Vinh Cuu district

Particularly, 2,600 gifts were given to children who are regular government policy beneficiaries in districts, Long Khanh town, and Bien Hoa city, to those who are being brought up at Center for Patronizing Bien Hoa Orphans, Hoa Mai Center for Caring for Orphans and Handicapped Children in  Long Thanh, Hanoi Church for Caring for Orphans, While Lotus Charity, and Center for  Underpriviledged and Agent Orange Children Rehabilitation and Care in Dinh Quan, to those who are disabled children, and to those who are needy children in far-flung areas.

In addition, Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs called for organizations and individuals to make donations to get gifts and organize recreational activities for exceptionally needy children.
