First Half of 2011, 51,302 Job Seekers in Dong Nai Got Employed

In the first half of 2011, employment was provided for 51,302 job seekers, accounting for 57 percent according to plans, up 1.03 percent over the same period 2010, says Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs.

Job seekers are looking for employment at the 37th Employment Exchange

Employment has been generated for 50,358 laborers via socio-economic development programs.

These programs are also combined with poverty reduction and loan provision programs. Particularly, 21,646 laborers gained an access to poverty reduction programs, and 900 others got trained and sent abroad for work.

In addition, Dong Nai Employment Agency has held five sessions of employment exchange.

Nearly 9,000 job seekers attended the sessions for jobs and employment information.

90 employers recruited their workers on the spot.

As a result, 4,386 job seekers got consulted on employment, 1,337 job application forms were submitted, and 600 job seekers were employed.
